FAQ

Straight answers. No hype.

Does this replace a trademark filing?

No. This registry creates cryptographic proof of creation and an immutable timestamp on-chain. Formal trademark registration is a separate legal process.

What is stored on-chain?

A SHA-256 hash of your file, the IP type, a timestamp, and a metadata URI (typically pointing to IPFS).

Is my file publicly visible?

IPFS content is addressable by CID. If you upload a file, anyone with the CID can fetch it. If you need privacy, register only the hash and store the file elsewhere.

Why 100 MATIC?

This is positioned for serious creators and founders. The price reflects permanence, infrastructure, and long-term sustainability.

Can the contract change?

The contract owner can adjust pricing and pause operations, but records already written to the chain remain immutable.
